Young 18 year old far away from home. I would first look at his domestic situation to see if he is actually enjoying his time and whether any reasons for his indifferent form could be found there. Secondly, we should be looking at the head of recruitment role here. I’m not convinced about him frankly. The rest of his signings, Kudus apart, haven’t as yet really began to spark, although Somerville definitely has the promise. It is noticeable Leverkusen have been more successful and recruited better since he left! Mourinho would be an utter disaster. Some of our players seem to leave their desire in the car park before games. Mourinho loves to blame everyone except himself and our players would provide him with endless opportunities for that. His day as a top trainer are over. If Lopetegui has to go then I’ll take Potter. Over 3 seasons he taught Brighton how to play football and the two guys that have followed him are still benefitting from that.

I can not believe that people have been saying give him a chance. To me it is not the fact he slagged off LFC, hey who hasn’t, we are thick skinned but using racist language to describe Klopp is totally unacceptable. Some are saying he could drop down the leagues, total rubbish, there are German and other nationalities playing there who may also have been offended. My usual philosophy is what happens behind closed doors is one thing, as we can plead ignorance, however, when it is blasted all over social media, how can you believe he is impartial. Do not forget the Arsenal Handball & the Pickford challenge on VVD both came AFTER that Burnley game and this video, also remember Howard Webb came out and stated that it should have been handball and should have been a Pickford red, so by openly going against his decisions certainly casts a lot of doubt on his impartiality. And now to top it off, there is now another video allegedly showing him Snorting a White Powder substance. Players and Managers receive Bans and Fines just for saying the ref had a bad game so if the PGMOL do give him a second chance then these refs who are already more protected than keepers will now consider themselves as Gods and totally untouchable.

At least he can run away to Saudi like Andy Gray and the other one as they have no moral compass and anything seems to be acceptable.
